Debating Ethnography

Please see information on a programme of debating ethnography sessions coming up the following months.

Programme

The group will meet alternatively either around the readings of ethnographic key texts or to discuss staff/students ethnographic challenges as well as inviting guest speakers. The session will be scheduled on Monday and will be two hours long between 12 to 2pm:

 Term One:

October 8th, 2018- Ethnography as a Form of Knowledge Production: Past, Present and Future-Introduction Professor Marion Demossier, Avenue Campus, Building 65 Room 2141
November 19th, 2018- Dr Peter Howland, University of Massey (New Zealand), Highfield Campus, Building 67 Room 1023
December 3rd, 2018- Professor Rod Rhodes. The Ethnography of British Politics, Highfield Campus, Building 4 Room 4005. Speaker to be yet confirmed.

Term Two:

January 28th, 2019- Avenue Campus, Building 65 Room 2097

Term Three:
