Design for Future: Retail Frontiers Exhibition
There will be a private view of the Design for Future: Retail Frontiers Exhibition that will commence from 6.00pm on Thursday, 21st September 2017 at Calvert 22 Foundation Gallery, London, E2 7JP. The exhibition itself runs from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th.
The exhibition is based on results from a 3-year ESRC funded project called Silver Shoppers that researched the challenges and difficulties faced by elderly consumers in supermarket shopping. The study developed a cross-cultural design perspective and took place in the UK and China. In the exhibition, there will be a display of the key findings together with several newly designed and developed product concepts for improving the elderly consumers’ shopping experience.
There will be drinks and canapés served during the private view. A coach service has been arranged for travel from Uni-link station at the University Highfield Campus and Winchester School of Art to the Calvert No.22 Gallery in London. More information about the coach service will be provided in the near future.
Please contact Yuanyuan Yin by the 13th of September at Y.Yin@soton.ac.uk if you would like to attend.
