Centre for Research in Accounting, Accountability and Governance

A vibrant research centre focusing on accountability and governance research internationally

CRAAG focuses on the role of accounting in facilitating global development and sustainability. Its central aim is to bring world leading scholars together to share and exchange knowledge and expertise in order to address persistent challenges affecting our national and international societies and environment with an overriding focus of promoting global development and sustainability.

In doing so, we aim to conduct and promote not only world-class research, but also responsible and impactful research by working closely with stakeholders, including practitioners, regulators and policymakers.

CRAAG takes an interdisciplinary approach to research that draws on diverse sets of data, theories, empirics and eclectic methodologies (e.g., archival, critical, empirical, normative, qualitative, quantitative and systematic literature reviews) from a wide range of disciplines, such as corporate governance, economics, history, law, management, organisational behaviour, political science, psychology and sociology, amongst others.
