Ben joined the digital Learning Team in August 2025, but has worked in eLearning for over 12 years, and in IT and computing for over 20 years. For the last 9 years, Ben worked as the Electronic Resources Manager at the Institute of Dentistry at Queen Mary University in London.
Throughout his career, he has managed several large-scale education technology projects, including introducing Virtual Reality Dental Clinical scenarios, using Mixed Reality to teach dental anatomy, using GenAI to create an online Occlusion course and managing the installation of 42 Simodont Haptic Dental Trainers, across 3 London dental clinical locations.
Ben enjoys creating online lessons and courses using Storyline and Rise, and has developed two fully online MSc courses, primarily using this technology to enhance the student learning experience.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys travelling, watching football (Ben is a Chelsea fan), entering online competitions, playing with his cat Daisy and going out to restaurants with his friends and family.
