Biography

Sophie Bailey is The Founder of The Edtech Podcast .

On April 29th 2016 she quit her job as Head of Content, Bett and launched three episodes of The Edtech Podcast, recognising the rise of the podcasting medium.

In the 15 weeks that followed, The Edtech Podcast has been downloaded over 10,000 times from 69 countries. It has featured on iTunes new and noteworthy and is distributed weekly via content partnerships including University Business and Education Technology, UK Education Weekly, BESA, NAACE, ASU GSV, Bett, Edtech Europe, WomenEd, Edtech Exchange, Emerge Education and Edspace.

Sophie is passionate about sharing stories which help catalyse new impactful opportunities and connect people.

In her ‘spare time’ she also works as an EdTech advisor, connecting educators and industry. She has spoken previously at WomenEd & The Department for International Trade (formerly UKTI), and is currently curating two community-led panels at SxSW Edu.
