Mediation service

Mediation is an informal method of conflict resolution that should be considered first before resorting to the University's more formal procedures.  It deals with all types of conflict including grievances and complaints, relationship issues and communication difficulties as well as harassment, discrimination, victimisation and bullying. However, nothing happens without your prior consent.

It is important that you understand fully what mediation is and how it works to enable you to make an informed choice about whether this is something you would like to pursue. This is best achieved by talking things through, in confidence, with the Mediation Co-ordinator before you make a decision as to the best route forward.

You can find contact details and more information on the Mediation Service website.
