Professor Don Nutbeam was a special guest at November's Parents and Carers meeting.
Professor Don Nutbeam has a distinguished career in both academia and central government, in both the UK and Australia. Speaking to a packed audience in the Senate Room, our Vice-Chancellor revealed that he still happily took time out to be with his two sons. He also answered questions from the floor.
Support for returners
Some faculties, including FNES and FPAS, now have schemes in place to assist academic staff returning after maternity leave or other extended absence. Ask your line manager or HR manager about what support may be available in your own faculty or PSG.
