Jubilee Sports Centre launches family-centred activities

The Sports and Wellbeing team recently announced two new additions to theiir calendar, which will interest both parents planning for the Easter break, and mothers-to-be planning for a good pregnancy.

Holiday activities for children

For children aged 8 to 14 years, Sports and Wellbeing have organised some fun-packed holiday activities. Options available include sailing, canoeing, raft building, archery, trampolining, and many indoor sports. Activity days run from 08:00 to 18:00 on weekdays between Monday 7 April and Tuesday 15 April.

Pre-natal exercise classes

The team has also recently launched a series of pre-natal exercise classes for expectant mums in all stages of pregnancy. Sessions are held in the Physiotherapy Room, on Tuesdays 13.30-14.15. Just turn up - there's no need to book. They are free to members, otherwise £3.10 for staff and students.

It also aids recovery after birth.
