Sarah Bogle, Labour Councillor for Bargate,Southampton City Council,I became a Councillor after many years campaigning and party activist experience, and enjoy representing Bargate Ward, which is challenging, diverse and ever-changing. My policy interests include transport, city centre regeneration and economic development. Tackling the skills gap and generating more confidence and aspiration in the city is critical to Southampton's future. I am currently working at Southampton Solent University as a Programme Manager, helping to accelerate their Strategic Plan. I have many years' experience in various operational and project management roles in industry and more recently in the public sector. I sing in a local choir and take an active interest in arts and culture, particularly where it can have a positive impact on regeneration of the city.
