Event details

Join us at the John Hansard Gallery for a creative day celebrating International Women’s Day. This FREE workshop is open to all who wish to explore their stories through mark-making/drawing with artist Lizzie Jones and Hannah Collins (10am-12pm) and storytelling with Debs Carter (1-3pm).

Debs Carter is the founder of Touch Network (www.touch.network), a network of women interested in hearing real life stories of inspiration and hope. Stories are told through autobiographical novels, storytelling workshops and live storytelling events. Debs began the network by sharing her own story of hope as someone who has recovered from severe depression. In addition to founding the Touch Network, Debs works as a freelancer (www.debscarter.com) helping charities and social enterprises to grow and develop through fundraising, business planning and client involvement. Debs was awarded a BSc in Sociology and Social Policy from the University of Southampton and is also a qualified life coach.
