With a jam-packed itinerary, the Festival runs from 12 – 27 May and aims to showcase the University’s doctoral research and foster collegiality and conversations across the researcher community and beyond.

Run by the Doctoral College in collaboration with Graduate Schools and professional service colleagues, the Festival offers something for everyone.

Enthusiasm so far has been strong, with more than 50 nominations for the Doctoral College Director’s Awards, an excellent set of entries to the ‘Resilience in Research’ Photography Competition, and some workshop sessions already fully booked.

Just a few of the events you can get involved in:

  • Comedian and science communicator Dr Steve Cross is guest speaking at the Three Minute Thesis Grand Final and hosting an advanced presentation skills workshop
  • Want the secrets to getting published? Three sessions will offer the opportunity to hear from publishers and authors on getting published
  • You can vote online for your favourite photo in the Researcher Photography Competition
  • PGR Wellbeing Project Dr Emma Waight, Project Officer, will be sharing some project findings and possible next steps in a feedback session
