International Day of Light Public Forum Event

The Optics and Photonics Society are running a number of activities to celebrate the UNESCO International Day of Light, an international United Nations observance. This includes a forum, open to the public, to showcase applications of light in a variety of disciplines. The importance of light will be discussed by a panel of experts from different fields, followed by a reception in which doctoral students will display posters showing the role of light in their work (refreshments included). Funded by the PGR Activities Fund.
