Event details

The Doctoral College is inviting postgraduate researchers (PGRs) to take part in a pilot Wellbeing Day. Limited spaces are available, please book your place via Gradbook.

The Craft of Wellbeing

The day will feature discussions on how we can positively influence our wellbeing, what Imposter Syndrome and uncertainty mean for us, and how we can cope with negative feelings. We’ll attempt to look our blind spots in the eye and increase our self-awareness. Together, we’ll re-imagine ourselves through the concept of the self-leader, so that we feel more inspired and confident with ourselves and others.

Wellbeing is a social practice as well as something we can cultivate within the self. This will be a day of discussion, conversations and practical exercises. As this is a pilot, we’ll be asking for your feedback and input as the day unfolds. We’ll be running regular ‘wellbeing days’ during the academic year and want to ensure that these work for you.

Lunch will be on us to thank you for your time. So, come along, be part of, and help shape, this inspiring day.

The Craft of Wellbeing - Day 2

This session will be repeated on Tuesday 24 September 2019, 09.30 to 16.30. Bookings can be made via Gradbook.
