Lauren Jevons wins University Three Minute Thesis Grand Final
Our 2017 3MT Grand Final winner was Lauren Jevons, from the Faculty of Medicine. Lauren competed against doctoral reseachers from our seven other Faculties, and impressed the judges to win first prize.
Winning the People's Choice vote, as well as the Joint Runner Up prize from the Judging Panel, was Katie St John Glew, from the Faculty of Natural & Environmental Sciences. Ivan Ling, from the Faculty of Engineering & the Environment, was also named as joint Runner up by the Judging Panel.
Lauren went on to represent the University in the UK competition, where she progressed through to be among the last 12 within the semi-final rounds.
