The Doctoral College Research Showcase has been newly established in the 2018 Festival of Doctoral Research to showcase the research undertaken by doctoral researchers at the University of Southampton.
All doctoral researchers from across disciplines and year of candidature were invited to submit a poster, or put on a hands-on activity at the Showcase, to University Staff, Students and the wider community.
The poster competition was judged by a panel drawn from University of Southampton Staff.
The exhibits were decided by a People’s Choice vote.

The Doctoral Research Showcase featured over 70 posters, and 10 hands-on activities.
The Vice-Chancellor, Sir Christopher Snowden presented the awards to our 6 Runners Up, and 6 Winners. Sir Christopher, also presented the two People’s Choice winners.
