The Careers & Employability Service are holding a PGR specific Drop-in service where you can have a 10-15 minute conversation with a qualified career or enterprise professional.
If you are updating your CV and want to know how best to write about your PhD experience or you are thinking about a freelance or self-employed career, or just have an idea and want to know if it's worth developing and how you can get help, then this could be ideal for you.
Date: Tuesday 15 May
Time: 11am-1pm
Venue: The Careers & Employability Centre in Building 37 on the Highfield Campus.
What to do: no appointment is needed, just turn up on the day, report to the reception desk in the Careers Centre (not the Student Services desk by the main entrance) and you will be seen as soon as possible. Please make it know whether you want feedback on your CV or to talk to an Enterprise Practitioner.
NOTE: please bring a paper copy of your current CV or business idea. You may not have time to print it in the centre, so come prepared.
