FELS employability series

As part of the Festival of Doctoral Research Activity Fund, doctoral researchers in the School of Geography & Environmental Sciences and School of Biological Sciences have collaborated to offer a 6 part employability series of six seminars aimed at increasing skills to help doctoral researchers plan for and secure their dream jobs post-PhD.

What to expect

The series contains two employability panel sessions, one targeted towards Geography and the other to Biology, where invited speakers discuss possible career paths and tips from a range of job streams (academic and non-academic).

Employability panel sessions will be led by doctoral researchers and invited speakers.

Employability seminars will be led by Professor Brian Hracs - School of Geography and Environmental Science

These sessions are for

Doctoral Researchers who are interested in gaining employment post-PhD, especially for those who are interested in gaining employment opportunities related to Geography or Biology.
