Film Screening

Directed by David Lynch, The Straight Story tells the story of Alvin Straight, a widower in his 70s who embarks on a journey to meet his brother who has just suffered a stroke. This is not an ordinary road trip.

This poignant story teaches us all a good lesson; that no matter what, even in the most challenging environment, we can find it in ourselves to do the right thing.

This is resilience at its best.

The film won many prestigious awards, including the coveted Cannes Film Festival Palme D’Or.

A true classic not to be missed.
