Welcome to the Faculty of Engineering & Physical Sciences (FEPS). We perform fundamental, transformative and world-leading research across a rich and diverse portfolio. We study the frontier subjects of astronomy, particle physics and the foundations of quantum theory. We apply cutting edge science to areas as diverse as electrical power engineering, chemical characterization, electronics, nanotechnology, electro-chemistry, optoelectronics and computer science. Our engineers are experts from drone technology to cochlear implants to waterways and rail networks to high performance sport to spaces debris.
