Dr Emanuela Lotti is Lecturer in Economics at the University of Southampton.

I am a lecturer in Economics (Faculty of Social Sciences) at the University of Southampton. Before joining Southampton in 2010, I was a research fellow at the University of Surrey (Department of Economics).

I completed my degree in Italy at the University of Rome, 'La Sapienza', I received an MA Economics at the Universite Catholique de Louvain in Belgium and a PhD in economics at the University of Southampton.

I have also conducted work in health economics and the economics of incentives and insurance, and policy-oriented research on the economic impact of migration in UK for the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR).
