Michael is a Postgraduate Research Student in the Economics department at the University of Southampton. His research interests lie in the areas of Learning in Macroeconomics, Portfolio Allocation and Yield Curves. Currently he is working with infinite horizon models of risky asset investments and analysing data on macroeconomic expectations of French households.

Michael joined the university in the Autumn of 2008 and received a BSc in Economics in 2011. Following that, he took the MSc Economics programme at Southampton before being accepted as a PhD student. The field of his MSc dissertation was "learning in financial macroeconomics."
