Why did you choose to come and study at Southampton?
My selection criteria were very specific – I wanted to be a part of a global community while pursuing a degree under the best minds in the U.K. After having done my research, University of Southampton checked all the boxes, making it my first choice among the universities to which I applied.
What have you enjoyed most about your course?
I particularly appreciate the nature of my degree, which allows me to develop both analytical/practical and management/theoretical skills. I also had the honour to work under an exceptional academic for my dissertation, who motivated me to strive for the best.
What have been your Southampton 'highlights'?
Getting the Dean's List award and the Economics Undergraduate Dissertation Prize were the main highlights of my degree. My first time at the Palace of Dreams was certainly an eye-opening experience too.
How has your time at Southampton helped you to grow as a person?
Everyone here is very ambitious and strives to perform at their best. This pushes me to challenge myself even further - in terms of academic ability, interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
