Ms Julie Reynolds

Ms Julie Reynolds is a Senior Teaching Fellow within Southampton Education School at the University of Southampton.
Julie Reynolds qualified as a primary teacher in 1988 with a BEd (hons) in biological sciences and worked in Hampshire and Southampton schools for the next 19 years as a class teacher, subject lead and head of year. She began working at the University of Southampton in 2008, teaching modules on a foundation degree programme, FdA Working with Children, whilst still teaching in schools. She also taught science on the BA (QTS) Education and Training. In 2012, she was appointed as a Senior Teaching Fellow on the Primary PGCE.
Julie is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and she is currently studying for a MSc in Teacher Education to further her own development and understanding of best practice in ITE.
