Dr Michael Tomlinson leads seminars at 'International Week' in Italy

Dr Michael Tomlinson led several seminars at the Department of Education, Cultural Heritage and Tourism at the University of Macerata, Italy. Micheal was one of eight guests who were invited to give seminars at the university’s 4th bi-annual “International Week”. The guest list included academics from France, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Poland, Spain, USA and South Africa.

The purpose of the event, held this year from April 16th-18th, is to increase international competencies through learning through a foreign language and to form intercultural and multicultural expertise.  The seminars were predominately on the themes of enterprise in education, career development and employability and given to international students wishing to pursue careers in hospitality and cultural and food tourism.
