This FREE to attend twilight session is open to teachers of Mathematics and Statistics.
The Royal Statistical Society Centre for Statistical Education invite you to a FREE
CensusAtSchool
CPD at the University of Southampton 4.30 – 6.00pm.
In this session teachers will be given the opportunity to:
- Take part in the latest CensusAtSchool online questionnaire;
- Play a game of Top Trumps using their own data;
- Map and capture the direct and road distances and time for their journey from home to school;
- Play an online probability game, Knock Knock Bang, based on a Japanese game show;
- Download the resource Knock Knock Bang that explains the theory behind the game;
- Download many free resources created from school-aged learners’ data;

a Stats and Maths National Competition with cash
prizes for schools; - Investigate if the voting in Britain’s got Talent is fair.
