Southampton Education School is running a series of half-day workshops designed to give those considering a career in teaching opportunities to experience some of the skills and techniques that teachers use on a daily basis.
In a friendly and informal atmosphere, you will be introduced to:
- routes into teaching
- an overview of school structures
- QTS tests
- presentation and communication skills
- group work-participating and organising
- working with young people
Workshops are open to both undergraduate students and those interested in entering a teaching career who have (or will have) appropriate qualifications. The workshops are FREE to attend and there will be opportunities to find out more about teaching.
