The University of Southampton and Just Imagine Story Centre are delighted to invite you to the 2016 ‘Read to Inspire’ conference, featuring Nikki Gamble, Neal Layton and Chloe Daykin. Nikki Gamble is one of the leading authorities in the UK on children’s literature. This conference gives you the chance to consider the impact that high quality literature can have on children’s reading and lives. She will be joined by children’s author, Chloe Daykin. Her debut novel, ‘Fish Boy’ (release date 2nd March) is set to be the Bestseller Book of the Month for March, is loved by David Almond and already has a review in the round up for 2017 books to look out for in the Irish Independent. We are also delighted to welcome well-known illustrator, Neal Layton whose books include the ‘The Story of Everything’ and the ‘Emily Brown’ series with Cressida Cowell.
