A national campaign to engage young people in sharing science learning with new audiences.
Colin Stevens & Sam Weston of the Mathematics and Science Learning Centre are hosting a satellite venue event as part of the Great Science Share for Schools. Join them for a hands-on day sharing Science ideas and activities. Small groups of pupils will bring a practical science activity they have developed in school and will share this activity with the other pupils attending the event. With an opportunity to meet Scientists from the University of Southampton.
This is a FREE event. Please bring a packed lunch.
Children will be able to:
- Research and present their own science activity developed in their school to other pupils attending the event
- Share ideas to take and develop in their own classroom
Suitable for:
- Primary pupils (groups of 6 to 8) accompanied by their teachers and teaching assistants
