This talk explains how reflective practice was implemented in a Libyan teacher education college and how it was received.

The research investigates to what extent reflection and reflective practice might contribute to the development of pedagogic skills of Libyan trainee teachers. The study was conducted in three phases- in colleg (theoretical), in college (practical) and in a real-life setting. Each stage revealed interesting outcomes of how prospective teachers benefited from reflection.
