The ECO-labelled child Seminar

Is the term "Education for Sustainable Development" (ESD) tainted by "good intentions" and with notions of the "exemplary life" and "desirable future"?Who and what is encompassed within the practice of ESD? We problematize how political reforms and pedagogical models enable as well as prevent different subject positions. A pedagogical model like ESD is developed from a good intention of including "all" students. But we claim that even these seemingly democratic pedagogical models fabricate undesirable outcomes.
