A review of the work and research that the Science Learning Centre South East has been conducting in collaboration with the Southampton Education School such as LifeLab ‐ the cross‐Faculty health literacy project.

The Science Learning Centre South East has been operating since 2004 as an integral part of Southampton Education School. It offers professional development in science and mathematics education, and runs key educational projects such as the Triple Science Support Programme, Stimulating Physics and Chemistry for Non‐Specialists. It also provides opportunities for research with teachers. This seminar will outline the work of the Centre and will also focus on one of our key projects ‐ LifeLab.
