Event details

In this randomized controlled trial, we develop and employ a theory-driven coaching-based intervention for a diverse cohort of 160 biomedical PhD students from around the US who desire academic careers.

This community of young scientists and 16 faculty Academic Career Coaches is sustained through annual professional development gatherings, periodic electronic meetings, and a mediated social network to support professional development and progress toward academic careers. In this presentation, we present this new model along with preliminary findings.
