Event details
Justin Dillon discusses students interest in STEM subjects.
The received wisdom is that many young people get put off science during their early years in secondary school. As a result, the argument goes, many miss out on a career in one of the many STEM subjects. But is this the case or is the issue more complicated? Drawing on research carried out at King’s and elsewhere, Justin Dillon will paint a more complex picture of the STEM pipeline.
