Education seminar
The expansion and marketization of UK higher education presents considerable challenges for contemporary students. This seminar presents findings from a recent Higher Education Academy-funded study on how the shifting policy landscape, particularly in relation to fee increases, has affected students’ approaches to higher education. It will explore the extent to which students’ goals are framed by the changing policy context and if they perceive themselves as ‘consumers’ of higher education.
