Event details

Blended English is an approach to helping children develop their skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing in a holistic way, which was being developed and implemented locally in 2015-16 by several teachers. This talk, presented jointly by one of the teachers and Dr Miranda Dodd, examines the process of implementing and researching this approach with a group of teachers, most of whom felt they had not been involved previously in a similar process.

What are the key messages of your talk?

  • The positive response shown by teachers to the process of research and the issues and challenges they faced.
  • Where does reflective practice become research?

What are the implications for practice or research from your talk?
