Ms Angie Dharmaraj is Postgraduate research student within Southampton Education School at the University of Southampton.

Angeline has done her first Degree in Economics and her second in Psychology from Stella Maris and Madras University in Chennai, India. She has a Masters in Education Management and Leadership from the University of Southampton. Her thesis was, ‘Leaderships contribution to strategic planning and school management’ with a comparison on expert and non-expert skills brought in by the governing body.

Angeline started her career working with an NGO mediating a community based rehabilitation project for the disabled. She also has experience in working among the HIV/AIDS affected and in disaster management. She then moved on to running a school with a population of 1200 children, that mainly caters to the disadvantaged population in the south of India for the last 9 years. As a certified Entrepreneurship Motivation Trainer she has worked with several corporates, NGO’s and training institutes in the south Indian states.

Her supervisors are Dr. Kalwant Bhopal and Dr. Natasha Rumyantseva
