The Royal Society of Chemistry sponsors Chemistry at Work events for primary, secondary and post-16 students across the UK. The aim of Chemistry at Work events is to show young people the parts that chemistry and the chemical sciences play in their everyday lives. They hope to highlight the positive aspects of chemistry as a rewarding and wealth-creating activity which is central to our way of life. This evaluation of 2008 events focuses on the experiences of pupils, their teachers, organisers, and presenters during and after the events.

Funding body: Royal Society of Chemistry.
