Research project: The neurocognition of writing to learn

Currently Active:

This is an emerging collaborative research project which brings together researchers from Southampton, Groningen, Poitiers, Amsterdam and Ontario to investigate the computational and neural underpinning of writing processes as currently specified in the dual-process model of writing (Galbraith & Baaijen, 2018), and to explore the implications for educational practice.

Dates: Ongoing

The project received seed-corn funding from the Faculty of Social Science’s Research Iinitiative Funding (2020) and two PhD students funded by the ESRC South Coast Doctoral Training Partnership are currently working on associated research projects.
