Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA)

As a student with a disability, health condition, mental health condition or specific learning difference (SpLD), you may be eligible for additional funding through the Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA). The Disabled Students' Allowance is a non-repayable government grant to help cover costs related to your study, which you may have as a direct result of a disability, including a long-term health condition, mental health condition or specific learning difference such as Dyslexia. Supporting evidence is required.

To get the maximum benefit, we would encourage you to apply for your DSA as early as possible, either before or during your course. Contact the Student Disability and Inclusion team if you are unsure about the process or benefits.
