Staying Well at Home

During the pandemic, you may find that you do not have access to the resources and strategies you normally use to look after your health and wellbeing. Your sleep may be disrupted due to being in a different place, or because of worry, and you might not be able to continue with your exercise routine due to restrictions.

It is important that we all follow the Government's guidance to keep well, including washing our hands regularly and observing social distancing, and we can find new ways to look after ourselves.

If you're not sure where to start, try NHS One You's "How Are You?" quiz for some gentle advice on what aspects of your lifestyle you could improve. NHS One You have also compiled 10 tips to help if you are worried about Covid-19.

Sport and Wellbeing

Sport and Wellbeing are running online and face-to-face sports sessions for free to help you achieve your fitness goals. 

NHS Strength and Flex

If cardio isn't your thing, try NHS's five week strength and flex plan alongside going for a brisk walk each day. 

Fitness Blender

Access hundreds of fitness videos for free, and use the search function to find the videos that suit your needs!

Managing your health

Ordering repeat prescriptions

If you receive repeat prescriptions, you can order them through the NHS service Pharmacy2u. Try to order your prescriptions within plenty of time to avoid delays.

Getting health advice

NHS services are still available and you can find the right service for you on their website. Alternatively, the NHS app has information about hundreds of conditions and a symptom checker. 

NHS - other conditions

Some charities and organisations have worked with the NHS to produce specific advice about coronavirus for people with certain health conditions.

OCD

Disturbed routines can be especially challenging for someone with OCD. OCD UK have some tips to help you through this challenging time.
