Semester One Exam Recommendations: Deadline 20th November 2015

Published: 7 October 2015

Students with a disability, mental health condition or specific learning difficulty, such as dyspraxia might be eligible to receive additional exam arrangements for exams and timed assessments. Arrangements are made according to individual need and can include extra time, use of a word processor, rest breaks and smaller exam rooms.

If you think this might apply to you, you need to register with Enabling Services who will make appropriate recommendations to your Faculty based on your individual needs.   If you have already registered with Enabling Services you do not need to so again unless you have changed course.

If you have examinations in January 2016, the deadline for contacting Enabling Services with medical evidence or post 16 educational psychologist report is 20th November 2015.   If you do not contact Enabling Services with the appropriate medical evidence before this date we will be unable to organise additional examination recommendations for this semester with your Faculties.   We recommend contacting us prior to the deadline date to ensure arrangements for exams are organised as early as possible.

To register with Enabling Services please email enable@soton.ac.uk or telephone 023 8059 7726  (internal 27726).
