ATS Refurbishment Coming Soon!

Published: 7 June 2017

We are excited to share with you that the ATS room on level 2 in Hartley Library is undergoing a refurbishment, stating on Monday 12th June and finishing on Monday 31st July.

The ATS room is a learning space provided for students registered with the Enabling Services, where a range of assistive technology can be accessed to support student learning.

In addition to new furniture and larger workstations to accommodate dual screens, the refurbished ATS room will have new computers and glazed pods for Study Skills Support and quiet study. The room will be decorated in neutral tones and include upgraded ventilation and lighting to enhance student study.

The ATS room will be closed from 12th June - 31st July whilst the refurbishment takes place. However, to ensure minimal disruption during this time the following rooms have been booked for students with access to the ATS room to use:

 (12.06.17 – 26.06.17) – Common Learning Room 2065, Hartley Library.

(26.06.17 – 25.07.17) – Room 1015, Building 45.

ATS software should be available to access on all of the computers in the rooms listed above. However, should you encounter any difficulties please let us know or contact iSolutions. Hartley Library also offer students the use of quiet study spaces - please speak to a member of library staff for more information on this.

Study Skills Support will continue as usual Monday, Wednesday and Friday (term time) and Wednesday (vacation period), 14:00 - 16:00 in the above rooms whilst the refurbishment takes place.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Enabling Services via email (, telephone (023 80597726) or live chat and an advisor will be more than happy to help.

We look forward to welcoming you shortly to the new ATS room!
