University Mental Health Day 2018!
Come and visit us at drop in to find out about the support available for you

Today is University Mental Health Day, the national campaign to focus our efforts on promoting the mental health of people who live, work and study in Higher Education settings. Student Minds and UMHAN run this day, who are keen to encourage all University students and staff to get involved! The theme for this year is Community. UMHD18 state that ‘We all have a part to play to cultivate a positive mental health community at University.’

Enabling Services want you to be aware of this day in the hope to improve your awareness of the support available and understanding of the role that Community can play in your mental health.  Visit the University Mental Health Day website for further information.

Come and visit Enabling Services at drop in today between 13:00-15:00, for more information about the support available from us and throughout the University.  If you cannot make it today, drop in is available 13:00-15:00 Monday-Friday (term time) and 13:00-15:00 Monday, Wednesday, Friday (vacation time).  You can also contact Enabling Service by email enable@soton.ac.uk, call us on +44(0)23 8059 7726 or access our Live Chat.

Whilst you are waiting for an advisor at drop in today, you could add your views to our University Mental Health Day board. These views could be about about how you give back to your community and/or how you feel Community affects your mental health.
