Mindfulness Taster Session: for Students

Are you mindful? Mindfulness is about learning to be in the moment and move away from ruminating on the past or worrying about the future. Studies show that this helps to reduce the level of stress we experience. This taster session will include an introduction to informal mindfulness practices, including meditation and a variety of exercises aimed at bringing greater awareness, clarity, concentration and choice to experience.

Sleep Better with Self- Hypnosis: for Students

Stress and anxiety are normal processes but can sometimes become overwhelming and can have an impact on your sleep.  This hypnosis taster session will help you learn how to take more control of your sleep pattern.  This session will include an introduction to hypnosis and techniques aimed at helping you to sleep better.  You will also learn transferable skills for other stress management.

Look after Your Mate Workshop: for Students

A 2 hour interactive workshop for students who may be supporting a friend experiencing mental health difficulties, or those who would like to know more about mental health and how to look after your own wellbeing whilst at University.  The workshop is delivered through trainer presentation, group discussion and individual and group activities.

A Sensory Experience: for Students

A Sensory Experience around stress, in this workshop we will be looking at exploring sensations and how these make you feel.  Book a space on our interactive workshop and be prepared to get involved!!
