Good news! The Student Support Drop-in service will continue to take place outside of term-time, on a reduced schedule. You can meet with a trained advisor to talk about a range of topics, including wellbeing, concerns about a friend, practical support, and study support.

Easter vacation runs from Monday 1st April - Friday 26 April (inclusive). During vacation periods, the Student Support Drop-in runs:

  • 1pm - 3pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in Building 37.
  • 7pm - 8pm on Tuesdays at Glen Eyre Halls.
  • 7pm - 8pm on Wednesdays at Hartley Library, Highfield Campus.
  • 7pm - 8pm on Thursdays at Mayflower Halls.

Exceptions:

Due to University Closure Days, there will be no Student Support Drop-in on: Wednesday 17th April, Friday 19th April and Monday 22nd April. Furthermore, Enabling Services will not be contactable from Wednesday 17th April - Monday 22nd April (inclusive).

Please note that during this period, you can still contact Student Life on a 24/7 basis by calling 02380 598180 or emailing studentlife@soton.ac.uk. Alternatively, you can contact Samaritans at any time on 116 123 or jo@samaritans.org.

From Monday 29th April onwards, the Student Support Drop-in will resume its term-time operating hours.

We look forward to welcoming you back after Easter!
