4 Weeks of Mindfulness course - apply now

For University of Southampton Students.

Enabling Services are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a 4 Weeks of Mindfulness course on Wednesday afternoons from 2pm to 3:15pm starting on the 22nd May.

Each session will focus on a specific mindfulness practice and will include a guided meditation with time to share comments and ask questions. There will also be an invitation to commit to a regular personal mindfulness practice for the duration of the course.

Mindfulness meditation can be an effective way to help manage stress and improve your concentration and focus. Mindfulness can also provide a way of becoming calmer and more relaxed. By using mindfulness meditation to become more aware of our automatic reactions, we can learn to respond differently to our experiences or situations that cause us to feel stressed.

The course is suitable for students who have never practiced mindfulness meditation before, or students who have some have some experience of mindfulness and want to develop their meditation practice further.

Places are limited, so there is a requirement to be available to attend all four sessions.
