Returning to study with an SpLD?

Coming back to study at university can require lots of different changes in your life. You may have lots of questions or want to know what support is available to you whilst at university. This is especially true for students who are returning to study and have an SpLD such as Dyslexia.

Our Specialist Practitioners understand the challenges associated with returning to study and are here to help. To support you, they have designed a study workshop specifically for students who are returning to study and have a Specific Learning Difficulty (SpLD), such as Dyslexia.

Returning to Study Workshops:

15/10/2019 and 06/11/2019

Designed for students with a specific learning difficulty such as Dyslexia, who are returning to study after having a break. This workshop will provide you with advice and techniques for managing and organising your time, maximising opportunities for networking and socialising and understanding your assignment brief. It will also provide you with details of the support available to you from Enabling Services, whilst studying at University. This is a small group workshop, aimed at students with a specific learning difficulty, such as Dyslexia.

Whether you already have a diagnosis or think it is possible you may have an SpLD such as Dyslexia or Dyspraxia, we are here to help you access the most appropriate support for you.

Study Skills Support

Study skills support is an opportunity to meet 1:1 with a specialist practitioner (no appointment necessary) for practical study advice and support.
