Looking after your wellbeing during the Coronavirus outbreak

It is important to look after your wellbeing during the current outbreak

We are sure that you will be aware of the ongoing national media reporting about the outbreak of Coronavirus and updates on how to protect ourselves. We understand that the updates and information can seem scary and can have an impact on your mental health.

Whilst it is important to be aware of the advice of how to protect yourself, it is also important to manage your wellbeing during these times.

The Mental Health Foundation have published a useful article issuing advice on how to stay mentally well during this period of unease.  If you are feeling anxious or unsettled, then please do read the tips!  Action for Happiness have shared information about how to protect your mental health.  Mind have also posted some in-depth tips on what to do for your wellbeing if you are asked to self-isolate.

If you start to experience symptoms of coronavirus remember that the University has a dedicated webpage providing up to date information and guidance relating to the outbreak.  Additionally, the NHS has set up a 111 online service for Coronavirus advice.
