Now full: online 8 Weeks of Mindfulness Course

Enabling Services will once again be running our popular 8 Weeks of Mindfulness course for existing students; this year we will be running the course online. T

The course is now full. If you are interested in being added to the waiting list for the next course, please email enable@soton.ac.uk.

Mindfulness is about learning to be in the moment and moving away from ruminating on the past or worrying about the future. Studies show that this can help to reduce the level of stress we experience.

In this course, you will learn a range of formal and informal practices, which includes meditation and a variety of cognitive exercises, aimed at bringing greater awareness, clarity, concentration and choice to experience.

The course will require you to attend an online group session for two hours per week, as well as complete daily practice at home.
