Mindfulness practice involves various meditation practices and non-meditation exercise. Mindful meditation includes the practice of bringing attention to the body, breath, sensations, thoughts, feelings or whatever arises in each moment. By learning to be in a mindful state of mind it is possible to develop new strategies in dealing with difficult or stressful situation. Through commitment and repeated practice it is possible to train the mind to respond in ways that are helpful and supportive as opposed to unhelpful habits that we have developed in the past. Four Weeks of Mindfulness will run 23 February - 15 March, on Tuesday evenings from 17:00 - 18:30. This course is an introduction to mindfulness. It will give you the opportunity to attend on a weekly basis for 4 weeks and will be provided with access to recordings of practices that you will then do on a daily basis for the duration of the course.
